We began this LB458 Program first on Avril, 2018. There are just few people tuned this world popular car with a LB wild body kit. As you may know, FuelMe prefer make ‘tuned car’ models, because we love to tell the story of a car with soul, and we want you to know the effort that these owners made for building them.
We do fly to Nippon several times for this famous Combat Grey livery. Here’s some tiny word on the door which you can see by micropur, including its power, torque, differential oil, brake oil and fuel. This livery came from Japanese air fighters, people need to check these planes though these data. Then it appeared on this car finally.
These sister cars come from Vietnam, more precisely, they are the first version and the second version of a same car. During making this Modena Yellow car, we spend more than two months to contact the owner, we started searching on the net then got contact by Car Passion, a Vietnamese local car culture organization. After that we found out the behind scene story: this group of super car owners organize a car cruise every year, just aiming to raise money for local orphans and widows. This LB 458 is the only wild body 458 during the activity, the color of Vietnamese nation flag inspired us to compare this yellow car with red float coating pedestal. When it came to June 2018, the owner decided to repaint this car by 3M’s sky blue lacquer, and made a change from ‘Love Vietnam’ to cold mood. We even restored Kato San’s autograph on the dashboard of this 1/43 minicar.
Baby Blue was the most popular color during 2014 to 2015. Wataru Kato used this color on his LB458. The only difference between these two is the rim color. The metal black was from 2014 and the metal blue was from SEMA 2014. Speaking of which, it has a story on SEMA 2014. When this car joined the SEMA parade, it was contact by a Wrangler behind, and it’s duck tail was fully crushed. Kato San was there, instead of being angry, he picked this crushed part and show it to the spectators around, then he collected a lot of hurrah. Before the show, they only use one night to repair this car and restore it to a perfect look once again! It was a easy job for them.
Modena Yellow and Fuji White were the colors of LB’s show car. You can only see these cars in Japan. We recently heard this Red-Black Wheel Fuji White LB458 was sold to Dubai.
There isn’t any Tiffany Blue and Electric Pink LB458 in this world, we were actually make this for our female collectors, also the collectors who like colorful cars. LB design plus fantastic surface, isn’t it attractive?
Justin Bieber’s Matt Blue LB458 was mortified by West Coast Customs. The normal used 458 costed 180,000USD at that time but this car costed 400,000USD cause the former owner’s title. The real car got these amazing woofers besides the wild body. It’s also the only car without stickers that we ever made.
We actually made 60 pcs of this high rejection rate ‘Sparkle Chrome’ car. But finally we just got 30 pcs perfect enough for the market because of this mirror effect surface. We compared with red interior and red pedestal to show off this sparkle chrome color.
